I’ll keep this short. In the wake of killing at the hands of Federal Paramilitaries, you see the divisions in local social media. There’s a part of me that needs to be reminded that I join those platforms more to stay abreast of people I care about, not the sweeping changes taking place in the world. I had hoped to enter this year with hope. I don’t hate that Maduro is removed, but I hate that my government did it, but maybe that could be a positive change. The memory of Iraq isn’t that old, but the South American political climate is much different. People deserve a government of their own choosing.
Iran. I feel like every time I see the protests in that country, my heart cries for people there. The more I see, the more I worry and hope.
Maybe the second half of the month will go better.
